NHB Subsidy
The National Horticulture Board (NHB), under the Government of India’s Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), offers financial assistance to promote commercial horticulture through protected cultivation structures such as Polyhouses, Greenhouses and Net Houses.
This support helps farmers, entrepreneurs, and businesses reduce risk, improve yields, and make high-tech horticulture financially viable.

Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF)
• The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) is a Government of India financing facility designed to support the creation of post-harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets. It provides interest subvention and credit guarantee support for eligible agricultural infrastructure projects.
• Cold Storage Units, Pack Houses, Controlled Atmosphere (CA) Storage.
• Ripening Chambers, Warehouses, Primary Processing Units.
• Post-Harvest Management (PHM) Infrastructure and Integrated Value Chain Projects.
Polyhouse / Greenhouse Subsidy (Under NHB)
The National Horticulture Board (NHB) provides credit-linked back-ended capital subsidy for the establishment of :
• Set-Up Poly Houses / Green Houses with the help of 50% Capital Subsidy by NHB & 3% Interest Subvention by AIF.

Under NHB’s Commercial Horticulture & Protected Cultivation Scheme, financial assistance is available for :
Polyhouse & Greenhouse structures.

Plastic tunnels & anti-bird/hail nets.
Irrigation, fertigation, drip systems and plantation material.
Mechanization and crop protection components.
Typically, maximum eligible subsidy for such projects is around ₹1 Crore per project under the current cost norms.
Subsidy amounts may vary based on project cost norms defined by NHB, project location, and scale of cultivation.
